Jax is an almost 8 year old spunky bearded Brussels Griffon living his best life with his owner Emily Killian in Boston, MA. Not sure who rescued who ❣️
On April 5, 2022 Jax had an emergency vet visit and was diagnosed with prostate cancer. This diagnosis in our furry friends is likely not curable. With the help of Angell MSPCA in Jamaica Plain, MA Jax’s treatment plan consists of chemo and radiation beginning 4/29 and 5/9 in hopes to give Jax some more time with his friends and family.
Jax remains himself— enjoying his favorite activities such as short walks, sleeping, barking, and traveling around to all the pet friendly spots.
After Jax’s initial consult last week at Angell MSPCA his treatment plan is estimated to cost about $13,000. His current insurance plan will cover roughly $5,000 leaving a gap in funds able to pay for his treatment.
Close family, friends and Jax’s Instagram furry followers have been reaching out asking how to help/support. Any donation is greatly appreciate— but are also accepting positive, good vibes, well wishes, pup kisses, warm hugs and extra kindness.
