I NEED to start off by saying I hate that I'm in a position where I have to ask for this help and it's embarrassing. Anyway, here's the deal:

For most of my life, I’ve struggled with deteriorating jaw cartilage, but over time, things have gotten worse. After seeking a second opinion, followed by a third, fourth, and fifth opinion, I've learned that I’m at risk of losing the cartilage in my jaw entirely. My doctors have recommended surgery as the only way to prevent further damage and restore my ability to eat and speak comfortably before things get significantly worse. The procedure is scheduled in just two weeks, and it’s my best hope for a healthier future.

After the operation, I’ll be out of work for about a month and I will need to follow an all-liquid diet for six weeks. This means extra costs for protein shakes, special foods, and other essentials while I recover. I’m reaching out for support to help cover the surgery and the additional expenses that come with recovery.

Literally any help you can offer will make a real difference in my ability to heal and get back to living a normal life. Every penny counts. I feel selfish and obnoxious asking for handouts while so much of the world is struggling way more than I am, but... this is where I'm at in my life at the moment.
