Hello, my name is Heather and I'm fundraising for expenses due to my son Javontey being unexpectedly admitted to the PICU at Children's Hospital due an infection that infiltrated his right eye socket into the bones and intracranial passages as well as several blood clots in the passages to his brain. It's just me and my son and I will obviously be off work while I'm with him in the hospital for a yet undermined amount of time. Along with this being an unforseen emergency, the hospital is also located almost 4 hours from where we live. I want to be able to give my entire focus to my son's well-being and health, but as I'm sure everyone knows, being a single parent on one income limits my ability to do so.
