Javier Cordero Memorial Fund

Our beloved friend, Javier Cordero, has passed away, leaving behind his wife and son. Javier was an amazing renaissance man. He was passionate about sailing, bird watching, reading French books and preventing climate change. Most importantly, he was a positive and loving person who cherished his family and friends. He always took the time to check in on others, had a ready laugh and always appreciated the humor in any situation or circumstance.

Even though it is believed COVID-19 was the reason for Javier's early departure from this world, he was never tested before he passed away. His wife and son were also not tested because COVID-19 tests are scarce in New York and neither showed definite signs of infection.

Since the COVID-19 pandemic keeps us from helping Javier's family in person as they deal with the pain of his loss, we have created this fund to help lighten the financial burden they may face in the coming months. Javier was the primary source of income for his family, and we feel that this is the best way we can help them deal with the unexpected medical and funeral expenses.

Any donation, no matter how small, can help. All donations will go to Javier's surviving family. Direct donations to the family are, of course, also greatly appreciated.
