For over 20 years, I was the sole caregiver for my beloved husband. The greatest “payment” I ever received was his love—his hugs, laughter, conversations, and the joy he brought into our lives. My husband, a proud U.S. Disabled Veteran who served in the Persian Gulf War, recently passed away from a heart attack after waiting over five hours in the emergency room. Although an EKG showed he was having a heart attack, his pain was not taken seriously, and we tragically lost him on the early morning of September 29, 2025. He was a devoted father to our seven children, two of whom are still school-aged. Sadly, due to his health issues and pre-existing conditions, he was unable to obtain life insurance. His disability benefits were our only source of income, and with his passing, I am now facing the cost of his funeral, as well as the immediate burden of paying our mortgage and utilities while I try to find a way forward for our family. I am humbly asking for your support to help cover an autopsy, funeral arrangements, and a few months of living expenses as we grieve this profound loss.
