For as long as I can remember there has been a friendly and familair face in the Canyon and Mens Grill at Dove Canyon-- Javier. Javi has worked at Dove since 2000. How has he supported the Dove community? Serving 15 drinks an hour for seven hours x 22 days a month X 12 months X 20 years is somewhere are a half a million. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, ashtrays, coffees, teas, hot sauce, he did it all and with a smile-- always and for everyone.
Javi is now battling a foot infection at Saddleback Hospital. He needs us like we have needed him for 20 years. Let's show him how the faithful members of the Dove appreciate and support him in his time of need. It's scary to face this type of infection and its compounded by the need to be on your feet to earn your wages. His injury has exhausted his paid leave allowance and the Unemployment/disability office is way behind on claims. We can collectively take some of the burden off his plate so he can focus on healing and enjoy the support of his friends, customers and co-workers who miss him and want him back whole, healthy and complete.
We miss and love you Javi!
