JAV Education Center Construction

Hello, we are JAV (Journey Against Violence), an organization in Monrovia dedicated to saving children from a life of crime, drug abuse, and violence in the wake of the Liberian civil war. Even with extremely limited resources, we have run dozens of programs and graduated over 500 young people over the last 15 years. The JAV program helps our young people to overcome their addiction, teaches them a trade in agriculture or construction, and gives them faith in Jesus Christ. Our graduates started out living in the ghettos of Monrovia as slaves to addiction and crime but are now married, employed, responsible, contributing members of society. The next step of our journey is to build a school that will become the home of the JAV program. We will be able to accept more children and make an even bigger impact on the youth in Monrovia, but we need your help. We have already started construction on the school, but we need $73,000 to finish the building and begin using it.
