Jasmin’s Road To Recovery
Jasmin is an aspiring nurse and is currently a full time student at Old Dominion University to obtain her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nursing. She takes her education very serious, so serious that she received her high school diploma from Churchland High School and her Associates Degree from Tidewater Community College at the same time. She has a passion for helping others that exudes in her day to day life.
On February 7, 2021, Jasmin was in a car accident that put her plans on pause. She was in the Intensive Care Unit for 10 days and underwent 3 major surgeries to fix a broken arm, femur bone, hip, pelvic bone, as well as a neck and spinal injury which she will have to wear a C-Collar for a minimum of 3 months. Thankfully, all of her surgeries were a success. Now begins Jasmin’s Road To Recovery!
Jasmin is still hospitalized and receiving post operation treatment. Once she is well enough to go home, she will have to go through a series of therapy sessions to regain use of her legs and arm. In addition, once she is released from the hospital, she will still need 24 hour care due to the severity of her injuries along with additional supplies needed for day to day care.
As you can imagine, her hospital bills are adding up by the day. Although she has insurance, Jasmin will still be left with quite a huge hospital bill along with the outpatient care she will need during recovery.
Asking for help isn't easy, but Jasmin and the Scott family is in need at this time. If you are able to support in any capacity in their time of need it would be greatly appreciated.
