Jasper's Rainbow Bridge Fund ~ The Next Stage of His Journey

Hello everyone,

We are Jasmine and Thomas, and we’re currently living through every pet parent’s worst nightmare. After thirteen wonderful, happy years, our sweet fur baby Jasper will soon be departing this world for the Rainbow Bridge.

At the beginning of April, Jasper began exhibiting some concerning symptoms, which led us to take him to the vet. Up until then, his health had been relatively normal. But after a series of tests, we received the worst possible news: Jasper is experiencing kidney failure, and his condition is so aggressive that it’s causing a myriad of other health complications. Sadly, there’s not much we can do at this point beyond easing his pain and keeping him comfortable for as long as we can.

And that’s exactly what we’ve been doing. We’ve spent the past few days making sure Jasper is surrounded by love—grooming him since he’s too weak to do it on his own, feeding him his favorite treats, and never leaving him alone, not even for a moment. But even with all the love in the world, our time together is drawing to a close.

It’s hard to put into words how devastating this loss is. Jasper has been such an important part of our lives for thirteen years, and we honestly can’t imagine a world without him. We love him so deeply, and this goodbye is devastating to us both.

And yet, even as we grieve, we’re faced with the practical side of heartbreak. Vet bills are already adding up, and between those and Jasper’s end-of-life care, we’re facing a significant financial burden—and all of this in the midst of planning our July wedding.

With all of this in mind, we’re humbly asking for help. Any contribution, no matter how small, would mean the world to us. It would go directly toward Jasper’s care and allow us to give him the peaceful, love-filled farewell he deserves. Every little bit helps ease this burden as we prepare to say goodbye to our furrever friend.
