Jasper's Journey: Overcoming Hardship

Hey folks.

I hesitated to make this, but I am reaching out for community support to keep my feet afloat.

I had a stable job that I started in at the beginning of October, and then sustained a heavy knee injury at my place of work back at the end of October. That injury took a few months to heal from, which left me with temporary workman's comp "income", which if you've been through that..you know it doesn't pay the bills. I was relying on that while also watching all my savings dwindle to nothing. I was cleared and able to return to work at the tail end of January, and got told there was no work for me. I am now left trying to keep the wolves away with no savings left. I was able to pay just my rent of 1,350 this month but I am now at my wits end. As of right now, I will not be able to afford rent this month and am terrified of the real reality of losing my apartment/dealing with impending back rent, late fees on bills, my bank account going into the negatives, money to move out of my place in April, among other further bills.

I am actively looking for jobs and waiting to hear back from anything at this point. Any direction on somewhere hiring immediately would also be appreciated as

we're already a week into this month and a new job takes a couple weeks to then be paid.

I know times are tough for everyone and any amount donated would move mountains and mean the world to me.
