7/29/21 UPDATE:
Jasper had to be rushed to red Bank Animal Hospital in Mt Laurel yesterday afternoon. He wasn't moving and had difficulty breathing. He was immediately put into an oxygen chamber where he's remained. They did several tests including chest xrays and blood test. His Xray shows something in his lungs and at this point they think its either an infection...The new chemo drug wiped out Jasper's immune system and compromised it allowing an infection to develop, or the cancer has spread to his lungs. She didn't think it was the latter given the type of cancer he has but can't rule it out. He's on antibiotics while remaining in the oxygen chamber. He's been there overnight already and when they tried to wean him off the oxygen, he was fine for 15 min but relapsed and had difficulty breathing. They strongly want to keep him in the oxygen chamber another 24 hours.
I want to be able to give Jasper everything he needs to be able to recover and survive and its difficult to be put into a position where I can't due to financial reasons. I'm putting a plea out to everyone, my fellow dog and animal lover, if you could please help Jasper so he can get better. He has been through soooo much already. He's been fighting cancer in his spleen, lymph nodes and now a MCT on his belly. He just can't catch a break, but he is a fighter through and through. Because he's fighting for his life, I can't let him down. No donation is too small, every amount helps and adds up. If you can't donate, I completely understand, if you can help share his gofundme.

Late 2018, we got the devastating news that Jasper had cancer on the skin surrounding his private area. Our vet was able to successfully remove that area of skin and we thought that was it. Early 2019 Jasper went to see an oncologist just as a follow up and she discovered that the cancer had spread internally to his spleen and also one of his lymph nodes. Due to cancer being in 2 areas, surgery is not an option. Jasper has been having costly monthly blood work done every single month since early 2019, just so he can continue chemo. During his last ultrasound check up in December of 2019, his oncologist gave us the news that the tumors have not shrunk BUT they also haven’t grown in size. This will mean Jasper will be on Chemo for the rest of his life or until its no longer effective. Basically what the chemo has done is to “put the tumor cells to sleep” so they don’t continue to grow. At this point, that has been the best case scenario and has kept him alive with still a good quality of life.
It’s been tough, financially, to keep up with all his monthly oncology tests, cost of chemo and an ultrasound every 3 months, but after lossing both Avery and Bailey to cancer last year, I couldn't loose Jasper too. Not without doing everything I possibly can.
Recently in February, I lost my job due to the uphill challenge the pandemic had caused to the company I was employed with. It’s been 2 months and I am still waiting for my Unemployment benefits to be paid out. I know so many have struggled waiting for their unemployment benefits too. For me, this loss of income means I can no longer afford Jasper’s chemo and all the necessary tests for him to remain on chemo. So, I am turning to you my fellow dog lovers, in hopes that you can help me continue Jasper’s chemo because every day that he is without means his cancer cells will wake up and continue to grow and invade his body. He is due for another round of tests plus ultrasound so he can continue another 30 days of chemo. If you can donate, we would appreciate any amount. If you prefer to Venmo its @S-Cassidy. I understand times are tough for everyone, so if you can’t afford to donate, please help by sharing Jasper’s GoFundme. The amount I'm raising for covers his oncology tests, ultrasound and chemo for the next 30 days. Hopefully buying me a little more time until my UI benefits kicks in. From the bottom of my heart and Jasper’s, I THANK YOU for helping me continue to help Jasper.

This afternoon while checking on Teddy, I noticed a puddle of blood on the rug and he had a mouthful of blood. Too much blood for it to be a cracked tooth. Our regular vet is closed on the weekends so I have to take him to the ER. If you can donate to help Teddy. Even if all you can spare is $5 and a prayer. No amount is too small. Thank You so much for helping Teddy and Jasper at a time that I am unable to do so financially.

We received the needle aspirate results back and the growth on the skin surrouding his wee wee area is confirmed mast cell cancer. Given where the tumor is, surgery is not an option. His oncologist is recommending an aggressive targeted radiation theraphy. The estimate for that depending on how many rounds he will need varies between low of $5000-high of 11,000. Please continue to share Jasper's gofundme and please donate if you're able to. Just when we thought there was light at the end of the tunnel, and also dealing with all Teddy is going through, it's a lot to process but I have to keep pushing forward and fighting.
