Jasper Minor Hockey
Donation protected
I am raising money to help cover the costs for families in Jasper Alberta pay for hockey. Our town is pretty beat up but not broken. Hockey will mean the first few months of hockey using Hinton for ice time, 30+ road games throughout the province, and no dressing rooms for months. The cost per family will be massive and I am hoping to get registration fees and some travel fees covered through fundraising.

**Help Rebuild Jasper: Support Our Kids' Hockey Dreams!**

Backstory:
On July 22, 2024, our beloved town of Jasper was evacuated due to a devastating wildfire that threatened our community. Just two days later, at 6:40 PM on July 24th, the flames reached our townsite, tragically destroying 30% of the structures that hold our memories and our lives. In the wake of this disaster, keeping our children active, healthy, and safe has become a growing concern for families in Jasper.

Hockey has always been more than just a sport for us; it's a vital part of our community spirit and a way to bring our children together in times of adversity. This season, our young athletes will face unique challenges: they will need to travel to Hinton for ice time, participate in away games throughout the province, and cope with limited facilities, as there will be no dressing rooms available for months.

The financial burden on families is significant, and many may struggle to cover the costs of registration fees and travel expenses. That’s why we are reaching out for your support. By donating to our fundraising campaign, you can help ensure that every child in Jasper has the opportunity to play hockey, stay active, and forge lasting friendships, even in the face of hardship.

Every contribution—big or small—will make a meaningful impact on our community's recovery and resilience. Let’s come together to support our kids and help rebuild the spirit of Jasper through hockey. Thank you for your generosity and compassion!
