My name is Joe Grant. I am an artist and glassblower in North Carolina. I am raising funds to help Jasper Fidler and her family with medical expenses.

One of my closest friends, a mentor in the glass community, and one of the best people I know, Greg Fidler, recently experienced a tragedy. On June 24th, Greg's daughter, Jasper Joy Fidler, was doing what she loved most. She was rock climbing outdoors with her friends when she tragically experienced a 40’ fall. This vibrant, infectiously sweet, 15yr old girl’s life changed that day. She suffered a significant spinal injury and severely broke all four limbs. She currently has paraplegia, but she is a determined fighter with great potential to change this diagnosis. Jasper is showing incredible strength, but she still has a long road of recovery ahead of her.

Jasper is a fantastic human being! Through all of this nightmare, she remains grounded and hopeful! There is a shine in her eye that tells me she is going to do amazing things despite this challenging new path. I want to help her family in any way I can as they go through the process of returning the best quality of life they can to their daughter. Our lives can change in an instant, and right now, you can help Jasper by taking just a moment to donate.
