Help Jasper get his independence.

My name is Jasper Harrop, I’m a 20 year old young man and I live about 15 minutes out of a rural town Swan Hill. I have a disability called Arthrogryposis which affects my joints and limits my ability to be able to fully use my arms and legs. I am a permanent powered wheelchair user and it’s possible you may have seen me cruising around Swan Hill in my wheelchair already!
I have a goal to be as independent as possible and my ultimate goal is to have my own modified vehicle and to be able to drive myself to anywhere I please! I am a very social person and love spending as much time as I can with my friends, but I am consistently having to rely on my family or supports for transportation.
Recently I was supported to attend a 2-day driving assessment/training in a modified vehicle in Melbourne with a specialised driving occupational therapist. This was a huge success, and I was able to independently control and drive the vehicle from my wheelchair.
Thanks to the NDIS, I have now been funded for the vehicle modifications that I require, although due to the modifications required, I am unable to go out and buy any old cheap first car like most young people would! I require a specific make and model due to my disability which is costly and far beyond my budget. I am putting this out to my local community, in the hope that you can help me reach my number one goal for greater independence by either sharing or donating what you can.
Many thanks in advance, Jasper.
