I am doing this for my best friend's husband, Jason Wylie. He is 28 years old, and due to Type 1 Diabetes, he is currently living with less 4% kidney functioning, which has him going to Dialysis 3 times per week. He has to pay $3,000 by September, to be put on the transplant list. The hospital requires them to have the money in the event that insurance doesn't pay for the rejection meds. His doctor wants him to also receive a new Pancreas, which would give him a new chance at life WITHOUT the diabetes holding him back. Since he is on dialysis, he cannot work like he used to, and even with his wife, Alysha, working, and him collecting disability, they are able to survive, however this doesn't give them much of an opportunity to raise the $3,000 needed.They are surrounded by love and support by their family and friends, and if everyone could just donate a small amount, they would be able to raise the money in no time!
