Hi my name is Jason Harley Bobson Aka Chef J. This year I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer February 2022. Cancer is something I NEVER saw coming, so you can imagine receiving this devastating news. For the past 2 1/2 years I’ve been fighting this disease and with it experienced every imaginable emotion-from shock to anger to acceptance to hope. 

Here comes the tough part–I’d like to ask for your help so that I may continue my much-needed, ongoing treatment. 

I had the whipple procedure end of March 2022 and am now recovering from that life saving surgery. Starting at the end of July I will have to undergo heavy duty chemo 3 times a month for over the next year and 1/2 will not be able to work. I have not worked in the last 2 years and have not had any income. Once I finished the chemo treatment, I started a immunotherapy program which about took me out this past 8 weeks as of 4/2024. and I have stopped that because my body cannot handle the side effects. I would like to recover and heal holistically as much as possible and usually no insurance is accepted unfortunately for these holistic treatments. My faith requires that I do good deeds for others, through conscious acts of empathy and kindness. I have tried my best through my life to honor this commandment. I can only say that when I get through this I will keep paying it forward and helping others through their illness and down times. It will be my reason for being. I am extremely grateful for all your support! Accepting prayers and good vibe donations. Even a $1 goes a long way, it may seem like just a $1 and it wont make a difference but trust me everthing right now adds up and is helping me in this new journey.
