Jason's Move to Seattle

Hey all, you know me. If you don't, my name is Jason, and I'm a writer, filmmaker, cinephile, and general nerd currently living in Pennsylvania. I was born in the Mid-Valley area, grew up there, and spent all my life within shouting distance of it. There's a part of my soul that will always be here, a part of me that will dwell in the memory of Coney Island Texas weiners, Old Forge-style pizza, my friends, and my family. While those parts of me may dwell here, I've got to go, and I've got to go far away.
I know I've asked for help before, and I know I'm likely pushing my luck by asking a third time, but hear me out! I've got good news today!
I'm asking for help today because I got an insanely good job offer for a position with the company I work for in California!!! It's a massive increase in both the opportunities I'll have within the company and the ones I'll have as a creator. It's also a pretty significant pay increase. I would go so far as to say the amount of money offered borders on eye-watering to someone who's never made more than enough to barely get by.
There's only one downside. Moving is expensive, and I won't get that sweet pay increase until I start the new job. So here we are.
How expensive, you ask? Where's my hard-earned money going when I give it to Jason?
Let's have a look.
Gas: $450.00
Hotels on the way: $600.00
Food on the trip: $300.00
Tolls: $50.00
Temporary accommodations in LA: $2,500 - $3,000 (this amount is an uncertain number. I'll be booking an Airbnb for a month or two until I can get the lay of the land and find a permanent residence).
Storage unit fees: $80.00 - $125.00 per month. Hopefully I won't need more than two months worth.
Any leftover money will be used to ensure my car is ready for the trip, pay parking fees I might need, and buy necessities when I settle into a permanent place.
