First off, I want to say thank you to everyone who is here reading these words. I put the thank you on the front end just in case you didn't read to the bottom. Thank you for your donations, prayers, encouragement, and sharing this cause with your friends and family. I would not be able to do any of this without you. From the bottom of my heart, I appreciate and love all of you!

 

For those of you who don't know me my name is Jason. In 2008 I was involved in a motorcycle accident that paralyzed me from the chest down. BTW, the 2 officers standing next to me in the picture were with me and if it wasn't for their quick thinking and actions, I would probably be dead. Thank you, Eric and JJ!! Miss you guys.

 

Now if being paralyzed wasn't already bad enough, in one afternoon I lost both my job as a police officer, and I was no longer able to serve in the Navy as I had for over 10 years.

That's not even the worst part. Every day for the last 13 years I have been in near unbearable pain. To try and describe my pain does not do it justice on just how bad it feels or how much it affects me. My pain is in my butt, legs, and feet. It's an intense burning sensation 24/7, but when it gets bad there are stabbing, throbbing, and surging electrical like sensations that are near intolerable. It's as if I am crawling out of a burning building and my lower half of my body was caught in the flames and not able to move.

Pain so intense that it becomes near impossible to keep focused on 1 task for any length of time. It has absolutely been the worst part of my injury. It’s effected my relationships, parenting, work, social life, mood, achievements and so much more.

 

I am on medication that helps take the edge off but it's not enough relief. I started looking into alternative ways of combating pain like meditation, yoga, screaming into my pillow, etc. Along the way I have found things like hydrotherapy, hyperbaric chambers, stem cell therapy, rTMS (Repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation) therapy, IV infusions and supplements of NAD+, NRF2, B vitamins, and other neurological beneficial supplements. Rather than listing everything here I am going to make a video explaining my vision and goals as well as the ways the money will be used. I will also be doing a series of videos to document my journey and how each of these things have helped or not helped.

 

My goal is to significantly reduce or eliminate my nerve pain, giving me the quality of life, I believe everyone deserves, which in turn will provide me the focus and energy to continue in the workforce and grow my new career. Additionally, I want to get my body all the way down to cell level as healthy as I can so when I do introduce therapy like stem cells, they have the best chance of helping my spine and neurological system recover, even just a little. Right now, I'm not focused on walking. I really need to reduce the amount of pain I am in so I feel like this life is worth living.
