Jason's Kidney Recovery Fund!

It has finally happened! After over 30 years of kidney failure and 15 years of waiting for a transplant - I received a kidney November 16, 2024! I’m not out of the woods yet, though. My kidney is still “sleeping” in its new home, which happens sometimes. But sooner or later, it’ll wake up and get me healthier and far away from dialysis.

And while this is great news, there are many challenges ahead. What with our nation’s difficult healthcare system and endless expenses ahead, I will be facing financial challenges. If you can believe it, this fund raising account was my social worker’s suggestion!

This is not easy for me to ask, but the reality is I’ll need help. If you would be willing to contribute to my fund, it would help me tremendously. I’ll be facing extra medical bills, growing pharmacy copays, transportation, and even lodging costs for the next couple of years.

Any amount will help, of course. Perhaps you’d also consider sending my request to your people - this is, after all, the very nature of crowdfunding, the more, the merrier.
