My name is Megan Fox and I am fundraising for my husband, Jason. On 12/28/2022, he was unexpectedly hospitalized for diverticulitis and ended up having a colectomy, which is the surgical removal of the colon. I’m incredibly grateful that we were able to get this done — because if we had waited another week, I would be without a husband and our son and daughter would be without a father. Whether we will be able to pay off all of the bills is unclear. He is without health insurance and currently will not be able to work for another month, maybe two. Recently, Jason had to be transported to Lynchburg to have another drain added to his body — which is just another bill added to our conscious and wallet. We are hoping $10,000 will be enough, but any amount will help no matter what.
