Jason’s Heart Attack Recovery
Donation protected
UPDATE 3/20/2025
On 3/19/25 Jason was admitted back into the hospital. He’s having irregular heart beats, pain and generally does not feel well.
His bloodwork and EKG have ruled out a massive heart attack. We will keep all posted on what’s happening. Please pray for Jason.
On 2/22/25 the life of the Stevenson family changed forever. Jason, the Patriarch of the family, suffered a massive heart attack. After coding and being medically deceased 4 times, he fought back and was able to conquer what had happened, have surgery to fix the blockage and come home after 4 days in the ICU and 24 hours on a ventilator.
Now the hard work begins. Jason is out of work for a minimum of 3.5 months while he recovers and begins Cardiac Rehabilitation. His body is weak and in pain from the fractured ribs and broken cartilage.
Selena, Jason’s wife and Blaine’s mother, has not taken any time off to help with the recovery nor to help with their son, Blaine’s emotional struggles that have come up. As they live in NV there is no state disability that will help pay them while Jason is down. Jason does receive a small weekly amount from his job, but it’s not enough to keep up with the medical bills nor the mortgage. Selena will continue to work everyday and do what she can to support her family.
Wed like to raise some funds to help with the medical bills and mortgage for the next 3 months to help ease the stress of an already awful and stressful situation.
The Stevenson’s are always willing to help and give to anyone they can and now, we are hoping that they can rely on friends and family to help them in this difficult time.
At the end of the day, the most important thing is that Jason is home, alive, with his family. All are grateful that Papa J came out of this alive, walking, talking and breathing with no serious damage to organs or his brain.
His body will take at least one year to have the stint grow and become a part of his heart. This is normal. Stressful doesn’t begin to describe all of what happened that day.
If anyone can help, donate, share, send them words of love and encouragement, it will help.
thank you.
