Jason's Fund Raiser "From Hero to Zero"
Donation protected
My son Jason was in a serious motocross accident on Oct 25, 2020.
He went out riding with his wife, daughter and sister and their loved ones; and with few other friends for the day. He had a bad fall and unfortunately he suffered injuries to his spine including 2 fractures and dislocated his shoulder.
Jason has been lying on his back in a hospital bed since October 25th. His wife Lorena, his sister Rebecca, myself and the twins Amber and Kimberly have been working around the clock to provide Jason with as much support and comfort as possible. It's been extremely challenging because he needs care 24/7. The hardest part is that he feels awful because he cannot support his family of 4 children including a 15 month old. They all miss playing with him especially the baby.
Jason was like a "Hero" to his family. He was always there for them, ready to land a hand fixing things outside/inside, cleaning and sometimes helping in the kitchen. Playing with the kids or go for a bike ride was his favorite; along with family outings. Jason loved his family time. Now he is reduced to laying there, in a hospital bed in the middle of the living-room. He never complains, he is always grateful for anyone who comes to visit and for any help offered.
Jason was also the primary earner working as a contractor. The pandemic came along and like everyone else, Jason had been surviving by making ends meet with much less work and digging into his savings. The accident took over his life and he is now in a really hard financial situation because he has lost many contracts which could have carried him through the winter to support his family. It will be a long journey in recovery before he can contemplate going back to work...
There is no way of knowing what tomorrow will bring so we take each day as it comes. We are very pleased with Jason's daily progress, he is now able to stand and walk very short distance and there are some good days and some where the pain takes over. He is getting professional treatments and care at home to enable positive recovery.
Most importantly is that we feel everyone's beautiful energy sending him angels, prayers and positive thoughts which I believe is making a huge difference in his healing process. Please continue to send your love!
If we all collaborate, and give from the heart, this family will survive this crisis and I assure you we are all extremely grateful for your kindness.
I am asking for each and everyone to find it in your heart to help Jason and his family get through this difficult time by donating as little as $5 (there is not set limit).
"Every donation is truly appreciated and will make a huge difference!"
