Jason Patrick was arrested in Burns, Oregon on January 28th. He walked 8 miles to leave the vicinity of the refuge after standing on the road outside of it most of the day. This after learning a dear friend was killed on his way to spread education. Jason's goal has always been education: Educate the people, Join the debate, Shine a light, Impassion people to care.
Currently, he is being held in Portland, Oregon pending trial. Detainment hearings are still happening. It will be a long road. While imprisoned, needs are expensive. Washington family (and potentially support from Georgia) have a strong desire to be visible and support Jason on this journey. Travel expenses, although not excessively high will quickly become a hardship.
We are all a set of dominos that sway one way or the other on the support system. I don't know how many dominos away you are in my system, but you are needed. The weight is sometimes very high. Your prayers are felt, your words of encouragement are strong, your financial gift is a huge hug!
