Jason R. Mast, 29, of Atglen, died suddenly at his home on Monday, January 5, 2015. He was the beloved fiance of Heather Kendig. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of R. Glenn Mast of Atglen and Jill Jones, wife of John Illes of Downingtown.
Jason was an area resident all his life. He had attended Octorara Schools and was a 2003 graduate of the Chester County High School.
He was a member of the Parkesburg Boy Scout Troop #217 where he obtained the rank of Eagle Scout. Jason was a true outdoorsman who especially enjoyed four wheeling and fishing.
He was employed as a carpenter with Megill Homes of West Chester.
Jason is survived, in addition to his fiance and parents, by his soon-to-be born first child Cameron Jay Owen Mast.
Jason's brother Josh and sister Niki have set up this fund for Cameron and 100% of the funds raised here will be used for Cameron's college fund.
