Jason's urgent story from 3 team members...
"On March 21st, Jason Lee Jones, a singer, musician, missionary, was diagnosed with THROAT CANCER. This was an unexpected and shocking discovery. God’s hand and favor has been evident in the process from the beginning as the diagnosis was made quickly and the medical care has been initially covered by a local medical charity for those without insurance. The overall prognosis is good, but it’s clear that the road to recovery ahead will not be an easy one. He is looking at SIX MONTHS of being home for treatment and recovers. TWO MONTHS of AGGRESSIVE CHEMO & RADIATION, and then FOUR MONTHS of RECOVERY and possible surgery. The charity has limited resources, so there will be medical bills Jason and Gina will have to cover. Jason brings in the family’s main source of income through the ministry, which he will be unable to do for at least 6 months. There will be MEDICAL BILLS & LIVING EXPENSES that need to be covered ASAP since Jason has been home all of March and will MISS SIX MONTHS OF WORK. Jason and Gina have sacrificed so much and passionately poured out their lives for the Lord and countless people for over 20 years. They have deeply touched so many of our hearts. Now is a beautiful opportunity to give back to them in their time of great need, both through our prayers and our financial support. Their faith through this process has been incredible and they are believing for a miracle and for God to receive much glory through this. Let’s help carry them, surround them with love and support and believe with them for this miracle!"

"It is with a burdened, but very hopeful, heart that I make this request of friends and family of Jason Lee Jones, my brother in law. Very recently he was diagnosed with throat cancer. For those that know him, you know that he is an extraordinary human being that has dedicated his life to God. The lives that Jason has touched and brought to God around the world is uncountable. His unending dedication and devotion to the Lord through his music and voice is his livelihood. That is why this disease, especially because of where it has afflicted him, is so crucial to hit head on and immediately with very aggressive radiation and chemotherapy. Jason is a strong man and very physically fit for his young age of 44. We know and believe that with your help he will be able to beat this disease with a full recovery to get him back on the road. Without insurance to cover the already increasing costs of unforeseen treatment, the next months are going to be difficult for him and his family. Your support during this time for Jason is going to allow him to focus on fighting and beating this disease without worrying about how he is going to be able to make ends meet for his family; his wife and two young children, since he will miss 6 MONTHS of his traveling missionary & philanthropic work with The Godbreed & Iris Savannah . Even the smallest amount of financial support during this time will go a long way in helping the family. Please help us to give back to Jason and his family some of the love and support that they have so selflessly given of themselves through their dedication to the ministry over the past 20 + years. Even if you don’t have the means to help out financially, your love and prayers would be very well received. We appreciate every single one of you for all your love, gifts of time, prayer, love, or any creative support during this time. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts and will keep you updated on his status. God is good."
Kory & Andrea Reeves, your brother-in-law & sister.
"One of my dearest friends. My brother (truly, don’t mess). I remember the phone call. The news. The surprise. The lament. The sorrow. But, more than all, the hope. And the joy of Jesus over my brother's life. In the midst of my fear and confusion about it all...the thing he says continually? “The devil messed with the wrong man. I’m going to preach Jesus even harder and stronger than ever before. Even if I lose my voice, I will still shout Jesus in my inner man.”
So thankful to know him and his family. In the midst of a cancer diagnosis, he has a true John the Baptist message (tattooed, big bearded, wild eyed and all)...”prepare the way of the Lord”.
Find friends who call you higher. Especially in the midst of trial. Find friends who call you higher.
Support and love looks like something. Nobody can be prepared for this kind of news practically. Let’s rally together. For healing in all ways. Any little bit helps. Yesterday, 9:42 PM"
