“Jason Christopher” Tillwach’s Journey
After being told by doctors for more than two weeks that he pulled a nerve in his shoulder, Jason was diagnosed with a brain tumor on July 5th, 2017. By July 7th, he was having brain surgery. Five days later he learned he has glioblastoma brain cancer, which is the most aggressive form of brain cancer.
Because of the tumor, Jason has lost strength in his left arm and leg. He will have to go through physical therapy for a couple of weeks to regain his mobility. He will then have to undergo chemotherapy and radiation therapy to treat the cancer.
For the next several weeks, Jason’s wife, Kerri will need to become Jason’s primary caregiver. In addition, Jason and Kerri’s bathroom will need to be modified to accommodate his rehabilitation needs. Jason and Kerri are also facing mounting medical expenses not covered by insurance.
Jason, Kerri, and the kids are staying strong and doing their best to stay positive, but they really need our support. Jason’s cancer diagnosis has taken the family completely by surprise and already taken quite a toll on them physically, emotionally, and financially.
Donations are needed now to get his home ready for his return. Prayers for Jason and his family are needed now and going forward as they fight this disease together.
This is a difficult time for the Tillwach family, and asking for help makes it even more challenging. The family is grateful for everything their friends and family have done to help in the last few weeks, and appreciates all of their continued support.
Please share Jason's story so that we might help him through his journey together.
