Good news!

My kidney transplant surgery was a huge success!

What a crazy year it’s been. I remember how scared and helpless I felt when I received my diagnosis (chronic kidney disease). But I found the courage to ask for the help I needed, and people answered!

The surgery took place in Abuja Nigeria. I received a life saving organ donation from a generous hero. On the 20th of July we both went under the knife and emerged alive and well. It’s crazy to think I have his kidney inside me right this second, keeping me alive. The miracles of science and people!

Speaking of miracles, my heart is full of warmth and gratitude to everyone who sent a donation. Thank you for saving my life!
