Hello, this is Linda Wyrick. My husband, Jason, lost his battle with lymphoma on October 1, 2022. Jason was originally diagnosed with the cancer in late February of this year. We had every reason to believe that Jason would make a full recovery since lymphoma is a treatable cancer. Unfortunately, Jason would experience a series of complications requiring a lengthy hospital stay. Each time Jason had a complication, the oncology team would have to develop a new plan of attack. Despite his doctors' best efforts to help put Jason's cancer into remission, there was nothing more that could be done. Jason wanted nothing more than to be able to provide for his family. Particularly, he had looked forward to seeing all three of his daughters go to college and gain their own successful careers. Jason will have a memorial service at 10:00 am on Saturday, October 15. The service will be at First Baptist Church Friendswood, located at 111 East Heritage Drive, Friendswood, TX. Instead of flowers, the family is asking that a contribution be made to help fund the cost of college for Jason and Linda's daughters, Allison, Zoe and Phoebe.
