Jason was kidnapped, and they took his money
My son Jason Lee, was kidnapped at gun point from our home on Sunday,
May 23rd. The kidnappers made him withdraw $3000 from his bank account
through ATMs and gas station purchases.
Jason has been working nonstop since he was 14. He's always been very good
with money, he saves before buying something, he knows how to use credit
properly, and keeps tabs on how much he has in his bank account.
He saves for specific reasons; he bought his first two cars on his own, he has
purchased several guitars, and... he pays his rent and other college expenses with this money.
The money these people took covers an entire semester of rent for Jason's
college apartment, without it, we aren't sure how he will be able to pay rent , with out a place to live, he won't be able to start the semester in August.
We are all very shaken up and upset about these events, we can't even sleep, but
if you could find it in your heart to help him to replace this money, that will be one less thing that we need to worry about. In the mean time, I think we all need some therapy over here...
Thank you so much,
Cheryl Lee
