Dear family and friends,

I am deeply saddened to write these words, but we lost my beloved cousin Jason on Sunday, July 3rd, unexpectedly. We are overwhelmed with sadness.

Jason was an avid Sox and Bears fan. He was a devoted father, with a heart of gold. He was always helping others anyway he could.

Jason leaves behind his fiancé April and his son Cole. He is the son of Steve and Lynn Vitez, brother to Steven and Nikki Vitez, a grandson, nephew, cousin and friend to many. Jason will be missed dearly.

The visitation will be held this Thursday, July 7th from 3-8pm at Countryside Funeral Home in Streamwood. The funeral will be held Friday at 10:30, privately.

We are raising money to assist with expenses endured as the family deals and mourns the loss of Jason. All funds are going to help with raising Cole and future education.

The family and I appreciate any donation during this trying time.
