Jason Vargas' Funeral Expenses

Hi, my name is Kat and I am fundraising on behalf of the Vargas family to cover the funeral expenses for Jay. He will be having a Jewish funeral at his own request. Please note that flowers cannot be sent to the burial site.

Jason Vargas, as we all know him as Jay was one of a kind individual who has shown nothing but love for everyone he has met in life. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, nephew, cousin, and to many of you, friend. For me, he was a loving, compassionate, and bigger than life boyfriend who I miss terribly. He has always put the people in his life before himself. Unfortunately, Jay began to have complications with undiagnosed diabetes and heart issues, which his health began to decline over time. Since 2019, he has been in and out of hospitals and rehabilitation centers. He fought relentlessly not for himself, but for everyone around him. He never thought he was going to go at the ripe age of 40, let alone leave his son Jonah behind. Jay loved his son Jonah with all his heart. He has shown the inner strength of the human spirit through his medical issues, and did everything with his famous Jay smile on his face. He never shown the pain he was actually in and always asked how you were instead. He had an amazing sense of humor, wonderful storyteller, and a legend to anyone who knew him.

At the moment, the family is currently making the funeral arrangements, but due to the unexpected death, the family was not prepared for the financial portion of his funeral. Please remember every little thing helps. I will provide more information about the funeral itself on Wednesday 11/2.
