Jason Talbert Recovery Fund

On July 15, 2020 my friend/ co-worker Jason was traveling to work on  I-65 in Nashville on his motorcycle. There was a semi truck in front of him that suddenly shredded a tire which struck Jason and threw him over the handlebars.  There happened to be a nurse that witnessed the accident and stopped to help him. She initially thought he was dead because of how awful the accident was and  he was positioned. Jason suffered 8 broken ribs, broken collar bone and scapula, a punctured lung and torn muscle in his hip. He will need multiple surgeries to repair his injuries, one of which is taking place today on his shoulder. Jason is a U.S. Army veteran and a hardworking single father who has been at his position as a security guard for 18 years. It’s going to be a long road to recovery and he will be out of work for months. The loss of wages for that length of time will be devastating, as it would be for most everyone. I’m calling on our company FJC, friends, family and the kindness of strangers to help ease the financial burden during this time while he is unable to work. It’s my hope that his mind can be at ease while his body is recovering. If you can’t donate at this time, please share his story. Thank you!
