On August 24, 2020, Jason Thomas Boutin, 42, passed away unexpectedly while vacationing in Florida due to unknown complications after being sick with Covid-19 earlier in the year. Jason was born on September 19, 1977 in Winsted CT. He is survived by his parents, Thomas & Arlene (Brady) Boutin of Winsted CT, sister Michele Cousins (Ashley), nephews Jacob, Caden and Luke Cousins of Wilton CT, grandmother Mabel Boutin of Millerton NY, and his partner of 15 years, Mark Forest of Weymouth MA. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Mathew & Mary Brady of Winsted and Joseph Boutin of Millerton NY. He leaves behind several aunts and uncles as well as a number of cousins and friends who are also mourning this loss. Jason was a 1995 graduate of The Gilbert School and then attended Fairfield University. Upon graduation from Fairfield, he went on to obtain an MBA in Finance from Suffolk University in Boston. Jason loved to travel and had traveled throughout many parts of Europe and the Caribbean, as well as Dubai, Thailand and Cambodia. He will be missed by many. In lieu of flowers, a memorial scholarship fund has been set up at The Gilbert School in his memory. Due to current Covid restrictions, there will be no calling hours and a small graveside service will be held at Winchester Center Cemetery in Winchester CT at a date to be determined.
