Jason Stenbar’s medical and funeral expenses

It is with profound sadness yet fond memories that we announce the passing of Jason Jermaine Stenbar, known tenderly and affectionately as Jason or Jay, on June 29, 2023, at the age of 39. Born on September 21, 1983, in New York City, with courageous endurance, Jason breathed his last in the same city that had witnessed his birth and growth, after gracefully navigating complications from cancer. A genuine heart and a soul full of love, Jason was a beacon of generosity, kindness and thoughtfulness, enriching the lives of everyone he met. His spirit, tenacity, and optimism never failed to inspire people around him. He leaves a legacy of strength and resilience to remember him by.

 

Jason was the much-loved husband of Lorraine, a devoted father to Charlize, Ciera, Jason Jr., Liam, and Tristan, and a best friend to Coco, the family dog. The love and camaraderie Jason shared with his family was unmatched and will always be cherished. Jason treasured his tender memories with his mother, Margaret Stenbar, and his father, Jacques Deadwiley, who had both preceded him in the great journey. His strong sense of family extended beyond his immediate household and included a second family through the Fresh Air Fund. Jason held a special place in his heart for Linda and Gordon Magalis and their two sons, Lee and Kurt, whom at 6 years old, became his second family.
