Jason Springer’s Emergency Fund

My brother Jason and my nephew Liam were in a horrible car accident Thursday evening.  As they were heading home from football practice, a large truck ran the stop sign at 94 & Warwick smashing into the driver’s side of the car.  Jason took most of the impact and was able to protect Liam as much as possible. Both were rushed to Akron hospitals.  Liam was kept for observation overnight, due to seatbelt injuries and internal bruising of his abdomen.  Luckily, he was discharged Friday afternoon with a few scratches that will heal.

Jason was put into ICU with many injuries.  His femur was broken in many places and is the worst the hospital has seen.  He has a cracked knee, 4 broken ribs, a broken sternum, and a broken arm.  He also has a hole in his lung and an issue with oneof his kidneys.  Not to mention the obvious cuts and bruises.

Jason is the head of a wonderful family of 5.  They are a single income family and in need of all the support they can get.  Jason is the kind of guy that would give you the shirt off his back.  One of the nicest guys you would ever meet!  Please support him and his family during this trying time.  I appreciate any help you can provide, even if it’s prayers and good thoughts!
