My name is Lacey Fitzgerald, and I am the Wife of an Amazing Man... Those who loved him, knew him as Jason Hopper. Jason was many things to the people whose lives he encountered and touched.
He was wise, he was loving, he was loyal, he was determined, he was funny, he was adventurous, and he was very special. He will fondly live on in the hearts and memories of all who knew him and loved him. Jason was young, Born March 21st, 1980, 43, and he leaves behind many, but was most excited about becoming a blessed grandfather. Jason battled a hard fight with the demon we know as cancer, and in the end, the cancer won. He left this physical world on January 12th, 2024, to be with God and to begin a brand-new journey and start a new chapter in his life and souls' journey. Jason was an adventurer at heart and is now exploring all the new realms Heaven has to offer, with peace and joy.
I love Jason so much and as his loving wife, I would like to honor his life and memories, the best way I can. I am asking for your help to provide me the opportunity to do this. Jason and I were very humble people, and it is not easy for me to ask for help during this transition I am facing. This will not be an easy road without him by my side. I would like to give Jason a true celebration of life, so his family and friends can remember him and honor him, the way Jason deserves to be remembered and honored. Jason wanted a Flagpole for his Burial Site. I would like to be there for our grandchildren, in every way possible, in the future. I would like to continue living the life that Jason and I were building together. I humbly ask for any support you may have in your heart to offer, so we can make all of these possibilities, into realities.
Jason was a great man, and he was such a great husband. I learned so much from our time together on this earth, even though it was much shorter than I would've liked... Our lives were filled with such joy and happiness. I would like to thank everyone that played a role in shaping the man, Jason Hopper became. He loved everyone who ever took part in his life's journey... whenever Jason told stories about his life, it was with such character, animation and feeling, you became part of his story. Jason deeply loved his children and grandchildren and always dreamed of a bright future where he was Super Grandpa. Jason loved me, his wife. He wanted me to live on for him, for us, and for our family. I'm so thankful for him and for all your support and kindness in this horrible time. I Love You.
In loving Memory of Jason Richard Hopper.
