Hi, my name is Nicole and Jason has been a long-time friend of mine for 24 years now. I was extremely distraught when I learned of Jason's struggles since having his stroke this past September. He has been a patient at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle undergoing rehabilitation treatment for quite some time now. His mind has not allowed him to communicate with the outside until very recently leaving him feeling very alone and with little support (other than Thanh who visits daily). He will not be able to return to work once he is discharged and is at a loss for what his life will be like going forward. He gave me approval to organize this GoFundMe to assist with his unknown transition from the hospital to his home pending acceptance of disability. All funds donated will be applied towards Jason and Thanh's mortgage on their new home and living expenses. Jason will most likely be discharged and unable to return to work so applying for disability will be his most likely course of action. By donating we can let Jason know he is not alone in his struggles and give him hope of not losing his home.
