My son Jason Pisani, 47 years old unexpectedly passed away on January 23, 2020 in the ER at Bayonet Point Hospital in Hudson FL.
Jason arrived to the ER by paramedics in serious condition but was conscious and able to give my name and phone number. The phone call I received was devastating news to hear.
Jason lived alone in Florida at the time. He moved to Florida over 20 years ago and we visited occasionally. Jason was a gifted and very creative person. He roofed my house and built my decks. Jason was a plumber, carpenter, mechanic and HVAC technician. I live in RI with my husband. Jason's son Josh lives in RI also and we are planning his memorial service together. We are doing our best to honor Jason and our special memories of him.
I am reaching out to you and created a GoFundMe page to help with the cost of paying for two funeral homes and the memorial service. The first funeral home is in Florida for transporting Jason to the crematory, completing the cremation process, paperwork and sending his ashes to me in RI. The second funeral home is Romano Funeral Home, Providence, RI where the service will be held on February 22, 2020 from 11:00am - 12:00. My husband and I are retired and on a fixed income. Unfortunately, Jason did not have any insurance no personal effects. I was unable to fly to Florida, therefore, I had to take care of the difficult and stressful arrangements over the phone.
We appreciate any donation that helps us reach our goal. I will be in charge of the final expenses.
