Jason Petersen Family - Support Fund
Donation protected
Jason, without warning, went into cardiac arrest on March 22, 2023. His wife, Jen, was able to immediately start CPR until the paramedics arrived. When he arrived at the hospital he underwent two heart procedures to open up the 3 blocked arteries and to stabilize him. The plan was for a triple bypass in the upcoming days. However, he did not wake up. His MRI and CT show good brain function but there is obviously some damage or he would have awakened. Jason has had a very tough road so far. He is on a ventilator and had a tracheostomy that went on to have complications. He had a PEG inserted so that he can be fed through his stomach as well as receive his meds. He has been battling high fevers and intense rigidity which they feel is caused by the brain sending abnormal signals to the muscles. The bypass surgery that he so desperately needs is on hold until he is able to wake up. The road looks to be long and uncertain.
Jason is 48 years old and was so full of life. He loves his family, golf, and fishing. He worked so incredibly hard to build up his own business. He has a wife, Jen, and a 16-year-old daughter who is truly a “Daddy’s Girl”.
Jen is spending many hours at the hospital and taking care of their daughter as well as managing his business. She will also have to continue to work at her job to keep up with the incoming medical bills. Jen has worked two jobs for years and will continue to do so in order to keep the family afloat. We hope to surround the Petersen family with love and support as they navigate this unexpected time in their lives. The financial needs for the family will be great and we would like to support them as much as possible. All donations will go directly to the Petersen family for the care of Jason and the rising medical bills.
