Friends and Family of Dr. Lois Norwood,

With a heavy heart, we share with you the news of the passing of Jason Norwood. A teacher and friend, Dr. Lois Norwood, her husband, Tim Norwood and Jason's two siblings, Jordan and Michael, need your prayers. Jason was a son, brother, friend and the glue that helped hold his siblings together. The Norwoods have always been a staple in our Sachse community. Lois is a beloved teacher at Armstrong Elementary and has spent much time teaching and loving our children as her own through their 2nd-grade year. She and her family are devoted to the Lord and share their faith through helping others. Today we ask for your help to support the Norwoods through this tragic time by donating what you can so they can focus on healing their family rather than going into this holiday season with extra worry. Below is a message Lois sent to her Aviator Family that we wanted to share with all of you.

Dear Aviator Family,

Yesterday, our youngest son, Jason, was involved in a vehicle accident. He suffered a non-survivable traumatic brain injury and passed away at 5:02 yesterday evening.

We are devastated. Mrs. Botha (Ouma) is coming to school today. I will be dealing with the many things that have to be done today. It will be a tough little while. Please don't ignore us, but don't drown us either. We might need to just come to work to keep going and take a break from the sadness. As Brenda Parker often said, "Armstrong is our happy place."

Please keep Jordan and Michael in your prayers. Jason was their glue. All praises to God for his redemption in such times.
