Hello, this is Ed Ray, Pastor of University Assembly here in Columbus, Ga. A friend of mine Jason Mort passed away unexpectedly Thursday evening March 2nd. You may have met Jason while shopping at Lowes on Veterans Pkwy. Jason leaves behind his wife Amy and 5-year old daughter Kira. Jason and Amy have been taking care of his Mother-in-law Sharon Anderson in their home for the past couple of years. The last year has been very tough on the family due to medical and financial issues. Jason did not have any life insurance and the family does not have the finances to cover his funeral or medical bills. Mary and I plan to donate as well as University Assembly will donate towards their expenses. Could I ask you to pray and consider helping Amy with these expenses. She has a lot on her as it is and this will only compound her burden. Funeral arrangements will be forth-coming. Thanks in advance
