Jason Means is an athletic trainer (AT) who sustained a bilateral subdural hematoma when he fell and hit his head while attending an educational conference in Las Vegas at the end of June.
After spending several days in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and several more days in an inpatient hospital room in Las Vegas, Jason will begin his journey back home to Kansas City in early July (hopefully starting on July 4th; Independence Day).
Jason has made significant progress with his healing in a short while but with a serious brain injury like this it's simply day to day with anticipation for a long road to recovery.
His bills continue to add up from the hospital bills, travel needs, day to day necessities and continued medical care and treatments for a speedy recovery.
