My name is Jessica Lauren, a fellow journalist and friend of the Mealeys.

It is heartbreaking to learn Jason passed away today, April 10, 2024 from a heart attack. He was a loving husband to Michelle Mealey, an Emmy award winning producer and assignment editor at WJXT in Jacksonville, Florida.

Jason’s unexpected passing is overwhelming. I pray we can all come together to help his family.

Every penny donated to this GoFundMe account will be given to Michelle so she can pay for his funeral/final arrangements. Anything will help and be appreciated.
