Dear friends, guests, nyers, 
     All of you know the effects that covid-19 and the measures taken to contain it have had on the restaurants & bars in nyc, among other industries/cities. There is no one who deserves help more than others. However, the restaurant industry employs many who live check to check, week to week. Restaurants themselves operate this way, due to large upfront costs and low margins. So, this combination has already led to great financial strain on all individuals who work for them. Heather & I will do all within our abilities to help our employees, but we are asking for your help to get our employees some relief. We are not the only restaurant in need, and we are not the only restaurant using this means. Understanding this, I am hoping YOU will consider portioning an amount of money you can spare and spreading it among the restaurants you’ve enjoyed and hope to continue to after this crisis. Please consider donating a portion of this to us, knowing 100% of your donation will be matched by us and go exclusively to our staff. We hope all of you the best in these terrible times, appreciate your sympathy and attention, and wish all of us luck in getting to ‘the other side’ of this epidemic.
