Hi, my name is Faith Ruehle and I'm setting up this Go Fund Me Page to raise money to help my nephew, Jason Long. While at work last week inspecting a damaged roof, Jason fell from a ladder head first on to cement. He was taken by ambulance to a trauma center in Camp Hill, PA where he was diagnosed with a fractured skull and a brain bleed. He was in ICU for 3 days. He was discharged, but could not go home alone. He went home to his parents' home. The day after getting to his parents' home, he began experience facial paralysis. They took him to the local hospital ER. He was admitted to ICU for 24 hours of neuro checks. Thankfully he was not having a stroke, but the swelling in his brain was causing the facial paralysis. He is back at his parents' home trying to recover from this traumatic event. He will not be able to work for, at best, 8 weeks, but he still has rent, a truck payment, and utilities as well as all his medical bills and medications. Because he is considered "self-employed" he will not have workman's compensation to help him out. Anything you you can donate to help him out would be greatly appreciated by our family. Thank you.
