Jason Kunz - Memorial Fund

With a deep heaviness in our hearts, we announce that Jason Kunz is no longer here with us. Our “Forever Mayor” flew on unexpectedly last Tuesday evening, September the 6th.

Jason was a light. His love for life, and the people in his life was bold and warm and enthusiastic, just like the rest of him.

Those often times sweaty, but ALWAYS sincere and genuine hugs. They comforted so many. That laugh… these are things that will be missed and that we will struggle to learn to live without.

The people who had the privilege of knowing this amazing man are experiencing a devastating loss. These are the same people that watched and adored Jason‘s ability to focus on the good things in life. He loved hard. He never missed an opportunity to straight up gush over his soulmate, his rock, his Alvina. If you did happen to meet Jason in a rare moment when the two of them were not side-by-side, you were sure to hear about how beautiful she is, and how much love he had for her.

Jason sadly left behind his beloved wife Alvina Kunz and their sons, Andrew Kunz, Alex Kunz, Aiden Kunz, and Bryce Crook. And beautiful grand babies Zayne and Luna.

His heart, his spirit, and his unwavering kindness were bigger than life. While he will be missed, we are grateful for the time that we had with him. He will live on in our hearts forever.
