Help Jason Serve in Haiti

Dear family and friends,
I am excited to tell you about an opportunity I have to travel to Port-Au-Prince, Haiti, from December 4 to 14, 2015 with my church, Reality LA. We will be serving at a ministry called Child Hope International (http://www.childhope.org/ ).
Child Hope runs Maison de Lumiere, which means House of Light, an orphanage and school that cares for over 40 children. The goal of our trip is to minister to the ministers. The people that work and volunteer at Child Hope work tirelessly to love these kids and the surrounding community. Our purpose of this trip is not only to care for the children at Child Hope, but also to bring refreshment and encouragement to these men and women that have given their lives to serve the Lord in Haiti.
We are going to a ‘fourth’ world country that has been in turmoil for many years. Voodoo is a common practice among the Haitians and the area we are going to be working in is often overlooked by the government due to the drastic levels of material poverty. I believe that each person; orphan, Haitian, and missionary alike, is created in the Image of God and His love for them goes beyond poverty levels, Voodoo, or weariness in ministry to transform their hearts and refresh their souls.
First and foremost I am asking that you partner with our team on this trip in prayer. Pray for our protection and health both physically and spiritually. Pray for lives to be changed. Pray that God would use us to serve and minister to every person we encounter, and that His light and love would shine through our team. Pray that those people would have a personal encounter with Jesus.
Another way you can partner with me is to pray about supporting me financially. I need to raise $2,300 to pay for airfare, vaccinations, accommodations, food, supplies, etc. Any amount you could give to help me reach this goal would be invaluable.
