Jason Johnston Memorial Fund

We are all devastated to hear Jason Johnston passed away Monday October 3 after a courageous battle with Covid-19. Jason was an incredible husband, father, business owner, and friend to many. Jason was diagnosed with Covid and spent 3 weeks in the hospital ICU trying to recover. His wife also positive and they were both in the ICU at the same time. The kids were cared for by family. Fortunately, his wife recovered and was able to go home after 7 days. He leaves behind his wife, Tawnie, and 5 kids: Ashlie, David, Jed, William, and Aubrie.

He ran his own trucking company, CDS Trucking, and was a hardworking father.

Jason was passionate about his kids — and especially Lone Peak football. During the fall, you would often find Jason on the sidelines at practice or at the games helping with the first-down-chains! While most were not aware, Jason frequently & quietly offered to pay the annual football dues for any boys that could not afford the fees.

He loved spending time with his girls! Some of his cherished moments were when he was teaching Ashlie how to drive one of his old restored cars.

Or watching his youngest daughter Aubrie play soccer or sing and perform on stage!

As a community, we are devastated by the news and want to rally the community to help Tawnie and their 5 children with the many expenses that will come after losing their husband, father, and financial provider. Please join us in contributing generously to help provide the support they need.
