Jason is fighting for his life and needs help

Meet Jason Cuchna, a loving father, brother, partner and a great friend to so many. Jason is fighting the battle of his life and right now and he really needs your help. In November 2014, Jason was diagnosed with a meningioma brain tumor and he had surgery to remove it. Two surgeries were needed due to a medical error. Last month we found out it came back, aggressively. Jason had this second tumor removed on March 30th. This week his doctor said his pathology confirms the tumor went to Stage 2 and now he needs radiation. The goal is to kill every tumor/cancer cell before it returns. This type of tumor always returns, but we are trying to keep it benign. Untreated it will return Stage 3, which is his worst nightmare. His doctor and team are brilliant, Northwestern Medical at Lou and Jean Malnati Brain Tumor Institute. The radiation he needs is called Proton Therapy and it is NOT covered by insurance, and he needs 12-20 treatments.
