Unfortunately, our Ridge Wood Community has received some tragic news. Jason Gibson, father of Samantha Gibson, a 5th grader at RW and Rachael Gibson a RW 4th grader passed away suddenly over the weekend. Jason was also engaged to Brandi Nehila, one of our wonderful lunch/recess monitors and mother to Noah Nehila (5th grader).

While Brandi, Samantha, Rachael, and Noah are all new to Ridge Wood this year, they have quickly found their way into our hearts. All three of the children are exceptionally well-behaved and kind. Jason and Brandi were in the midst of planning a wedding, and Samantha, Rachael, and Noah were very excited to become a blended family. This news just feels unimaginable.

We are hoping our community can help ease some of the financial burdens ahead for this dear family.
